Winemaker Jeff's Tasting Notes:
The first drop of morning dew coalesces on a newly opened jasmine blossom… the first sip of invigorating moisture that flower has ever known.
The 2017 Record Family Viognier is liquid refreshment, served on demand. Immediately upon opening the bottle the taster is greeted by the fresh aromas of orange blossom, Meyer lemon peel, and freshly sliced white peach. As the wine warms, it subtly turns in a more tropical direction, exhibiting hints of carambola and Kefir lime as its invigorating acidity dances lithely across their palate. This Viognier then ends as pleasantly as it started, deftly leaving traces of pineapple and honey that combine for a finish that is both long and brisk.
